This event was organised by the Ithacan Historical Society together with the Centre of Maritime History of the Institute for Mediterranean Studies and the Ithacan branch of the General State Archives (ΓΑΚ Τμήμα Ιθάκης).

A Greek-language version of the forum was held in Vathy, Ithaca on 25 September 2023.
